Libya, Egypt to launch e-linkage program in the labour field

Egypt will receive within the coming weeks Libyan delegation to discuss an e-linkage program to be launched between the two countries in the labour field under a memo of understanding signed during Egyptian Manpower and Immigration Minister Dr Aisha Abdel-Hadi visit to Libya.
Under the program, the Egypt Manpower and Immigration ministry will establish an accurate database for Egyptian laborers willing to work in Libya, she added.
Dr Aisha Abdel-Hadi has finalised several measures during recent five-day visit to Libya.
Abdel-Hadi met during the visit with several senior Libyan officials, including Secretary of the General People's Committee (Prime Minister) al-Bughdadi Ali al-Mahmudi.
She described the visit as successful, saying talks with Libyan officials were based on mutual interests.
The Libyan side agreed to adopt measures to serve Egyptian laborers and businessmen working in Libya and to facilitate the movement of citizens between both countries, she said. Abdel-Hadi also met with members of the Egyptian community in Tripoli and Benghazi.
